Skills
- Hands on experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of software/hardware/network.
- Familiar with operating systems like Windows.
- Understanding of OSI layer model, TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, VLANs
- Hands on experience in LAN configuration, IP addressing and subnetting
- Knowledge of Severs, Routers, Switches and Firewalls, Wireless access points
- Knowledge in DNS, DHCP, Webservers (Apache, IIS)
- Experience in managing email, anti-spam and virus protection
- Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls
- Experience in VoIP implementation and support
- Knowledge in hosting Internet/Intranet applications will be an advantage
- Knowledge in database servers like MySQL, SQL Server will be an advantage
- Designs and implements Network hardware & software, backup and recovery processes for business continuity, including disaster recovery.
- Support 24/7 for all network issues required as and when required.
- Communicates with timely updates on planned and unplanned network activities and publishes detailed technical report to the management.
- Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal
- Keen interest in learning new technology
- Ability to multi-task in a small business environment
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Documentation process and procedures
