As a System Administrator at Cogniter Technologies, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure. Your role will involve ensuring the seamless operation of systems, providing technical support to staff, and assisting with the overall IT strategy. You will work closely with senior administrators and the IT team, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of IT domains.Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance:
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and network equipment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability. -
User Support:
Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and assisting with software installations. -
Security Management:
Assist in implementing and monitoring security protocols to safeguard the organization’s data, systems, and network infrastructure from unauthorized access and vulnerabilities. -
Backup and Recovery:
Support data backup and disaster recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and the availability of systems in case of failures. -
Software Updates and Patches:
Help manage software updates, patches, and system upgrades to keep all systems up-to-date and secure. -
Documentation Management:
Maintain and regularly update system documentation, including hardware and software inventories, configurations, and operational procedures. -
System Monitoring:
Assist in monitoring system performance, troubleshooting alerts, and responding to incidents to ensure minimal disruption to operations. -
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with senior system administrators and other IT team members on projects, initiatives, and day-to-day operations to improve infrastructure and support business goals.
