    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Assistant Project Lead (.NET/Dot Net) with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in software development and team leadership. This role will involve managing complex .NET projects, overseeing technical development, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations and drive successful project outcomes.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Leadership & Coordination: Assist the Project Lead in defining the project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Manage daily development processes, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, meeting deadlines and high-quality standards.
    • Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers, promoting collaboration, professional growth, and continuous learning. Foster a positive, productive work environment.
    • Technical Ownership: Take ownership of complex technical modules and deliver high-quality results. Lead the design, development, and architecture of .NET-based applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
    • Client Communication & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely progress updates, managing expectations, and building long-term client relationships. Ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
    • Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks and technical issues, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track. Take ownership of resolving challenges that may arise during the development process.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to ensure efficient workflows, quality delivery, and alignment with best practices and industry standards.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, structure, scalability, and maintainability. Promote and enforce best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with QA, business analysts, and other departments to ensure smooth integration, delivery of bug-free software, and functional solutions.
    • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical architecture, design decisions, and process flows. Provide detailed progress reports to senior management regarding milestones, risks, and project status.
    • Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and frameworks in .NET development. Bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team and clients to continuously improve both processes and product quality.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in .NET development, including proficiency with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web API, and related .NET technologies.
    • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of successfully leading development teams, managing project timelines, and working closely with clients and stakeholders.
    • Technical Skills: Expertise in Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, T-SQL, and web services.
    • SDLC Understanding: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with hands-on experience in Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies.
    • Solution-Oriented: Ability to solve complex technical challenges and translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions.
    • Client-Focused: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are maintained.
    • Mentorship & Coaching: Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, promoting professional development, collaboration, and a culture of excellence.
    • Version Control & Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in tools like Git, SVN, Jira, Azure DevOps, and other CI/CD tools for version control and project management.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to quickly resolve issues and ensure smooth project progression.
    • Time Management & Multi-tasking: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery without compromising quality.
    • Communication & Reporting: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for creating reports, documenting progress, and interacting with clients and senior management.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms, including cloud-based architecture and deployment.
    • Microservices & Containerization: Knowledge of Microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Agile/Scrum Experience: Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
    • Front-End Technologies: Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
    • DevOps Practices: Knowledge of CI/CD practices, automated testing, and DevOps principles for streamlining development and deployment.
    • Cloud & Container Solutions: Experience in working with cloud-based solutions and containerized architectures for scalable and efficient solutions.
